4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP)
The Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) is a four-year multidisciplinary undergraduate programme introduced under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to prepare professionally competent, innovative and future-ready teachers.
The programme integrates disciplinary knowledge with professional teacher education, enabling students to earn a Bachelor's degree along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) through a single integrated curriculum. It combines subject knowledge, pedagogy, educational technology, classroom practice and research to support holistic professional development.
Unlike the conventional route of completing a bachelor's degree followed by a separate B.Ed. programme, ITEP enables students to complete both qualifications within four years while maintaining high academic and professional standards.

The Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) is a four-year multidisciplinary undergraduate programme introduced under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to prepare professionally competent, innovative and future-ready teachers.
The programme integrates disciplinary knowledge with professional teacher education, enabling students to earn both a Bachelor's Degree and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) through a single integrated curriculum. Students develop strong subject knowledge together with pedagogical skills, educational technology, classroom practice and research capabilities.
The programme offers an integrated academic pathway that enables students to complete both qualifications in four years while maintaining high academic and professional standards and preparing them for successful careers in school education.

Who Can Apply?
- Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination or its equivalent from a recognised Board.
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
- Relaxation in minimum marks for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD and other reserved categories as per Government of Rajasthan, University and NCTE norms.
- Candidate must have appeared in the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
- B.A. B.Ed. – Students from Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent streams are eligible.
- B.Sc. B.Ed. – Students should have studied Science subjects at the 10+2 level as per admission guidelines.
